Olagoke Memunat Funke

Biography:

Idowu, Memunat Funke hailed from Ogun State in the South Western part of Nigeria. She had B.Sc. and M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry ( from OOU, Ago Iwoye and University of Ibadan respectively, both in Nigeria). Her PhD is in view and her research interest is in Nanotechnology and Anthropogenic pollution. She had 2 years of chemistry teaching experience in Deuteronomy secondary school and 1 year of chemistry lecturing experience in Al-hikmah University, all in Nigeria. She is a young research scientist at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, Abuja, Nigeria. Currently, she is the principal Investigator on the development of a sterile plastic petri-dish ( a laboratory equipment for culturing microorganisms) using virgin crystal general purpose polystyrene in the earlier mentioned agency. She is an ambitious scientist open to wide research opportunities to gain and share knowledge. She has attended series of local conferences and she is a member of local organizations like CSN (Chemical Society of Nigeria) and PIN (Polymer Institute of Nigeria).
