World Nano 2019, held April 15–17, 2019 in Dubai, UAE, was organized around the theme “Presenting Excellency of Nanotechnology to Transform the World.” The theme highlighted how nanoscale research contributes to technological progress across scientific domains. Sessions addressed nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, nanofabrication, nanoengineering, nanoelectronics and photonics, nanomedicine and biotechnology, food and agricultural nanotechnology, environmental and energy applications, computational and theoretical nanoscience, quantum and carbon nanotechnology, as well as safety, ethics, and sustainability.
