Biography:
El-Gendy is Associate Professor of Physics and Director of Nanomagnetics and Biomaterials Lab. (Nanoland), University of Texas at El Paso, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in physics from Heidelberg University, Germany (2011). From 2012-2017, He served in various research positions on both levels academia and industry, as a postdoctoral researcher and senior scientist at Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia (2012-2013, 2016-2017), University of Delaware, Delaware (2013-2015), Nanofoundary LLC. (2015-2016), and USA. In fall 2017, he joined department of physics at UTEP as tenure-track assistant professor to establish his group in Nanoland and was promoted for tenured associate professor in 2023.
