World Nano 2020, held virtually from October 29–30, 2020, provided a focused forum for discussing developments across nanoscale science and technology, with the theme “Shaping the World Atom by Atom.” The program featured sessions on nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, nanofabrication, nanoengineering, nanobiotechnology, nanomedicine, food and agricultural nanotechnology, energy and environmental applications, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, nanomechanics, nanorobotics, computational and theoretical nanotechnology, and quantum and carbon nanotechnology, along with safety and ethics in the field.
