About Rong Tang

Rong Tang is a PhD candidate in Orthodontics at West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University, and is jointly trained at the School of Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on biomedical nanomaterials, functional biomaterials, and 3D-printed scaffolds for bone defect regeneration, with particular interest in osteogenesis–angiogenesis coupling and tissue repair under hypoxic conditions. She has published research articles in Journal of Materials Chemistry B and Orthodontics & Craniofacial Research. Her current work explores nanomaterial-based strategies to enhance vascularized bone regeneration and promote the repair of ischemic and hypoxic bone defects.
